The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it truly is alarmed in regards to the superior range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The service issue established for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of likely beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more sources to enable the servicing of all buyers and improve use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
